Piano was not on Cara-Anne's list of instruments that she wanted to play because it seemed like such a normal, regular instrument. What she really wanted was to play the harpsichord. After dutifully looking into the cost, it was determined that harpsichords were way out of the price range and far to large for her family's apartment. A keyboard with the harpsichord voice was the preferred choice. Cara-Anne will laughingly tell you that she hardly ever uses that voice on her keyboard; she has fallen in love with the keys - both on an electronic board and on a grand. Her first CD, Do You Hear What I Hear? features her keyboard programming on many of the songs. She loves to record tracks for practice and accompaniment.
